Estamos na terra do Jurassic Park, com selva densa, completamente virgem. Tanto é que, grande parte desta ilha é Reserva Mundial da Biosfera, desde 2012. Aqui pode ver as dramáticas elevações montanhosas do Pico Papagaio, Picos João Dias Pai e João Dias Filho.
Se prefere praia, não perca estas, são magníficas! Praia Banana, Praia do Bom Bom, Praia Sundy, Praia Grande, Praia Macaco, Praia Boi, Praia Burra… são apenas algumas das que pode escolher, mas o melhor é ir a todas!
Também valerá a pena visitar as várias roças - Paciência, Sundy, Belo Monte, Terreiro Velho, Porto Real – que contam, cada uma delas, uma grande história. E, depois, aproveite para visitar a cidade de Santo António, a “mais pequena do mundo”. Única!
Dependendo do local da hospedagem, há várias atividades e experiências disponíveis para se divertir. Fazer o Bem e apoiar as comunidades locais é uma delas.
Para isso, se puder, na ida para Príncipe leve na sua bagagem algum material escolar ou roupas que já não tenham utilidade para deixarem ao cuidado dos professores. Estes encarregar-se-ão de os distribuir pelos mais carenciados.
As crianças por aqui são muitas e estão por todo o lado! Andam em grupos de 20 ou 30 e recebem-no sempre com um sorriso e uma canção. Para lhes agradecer, tenha consigo um miminho.
