Mas nem só de vinho se faz Mendoza. Por estar numa região elevada, já com um pé na Cordilheira dos Andes, é possível passear por trilhos e ver paisagens de montanhas fabulosas, por vezes ainda com neve.
Na cidade também encontra muito para se entreter e divertir, desde logo o enorme Parque General San Martín onde é possível fazer piqueniques, praticar exercício físico, visitar o Zoológico e alguns museus, ir à universidade e, até, jogar golfe!
